The AMS Block Party is an event by UBC students, for UBC students and the campus community. It is intended as a safe and festive event that will bring the students and friends together in a celebration of a year completed and a summer soon to start.
Allow us to prove that year five is the best damn party yet!
We hooked up everything you know and love about the end of classes:
- The year’s biggest beer garden
- Six hours of revelry for UBC students by UBC students
- Food carts from all over Vancouver
The concert is all ages. Tickets for the event start at just $12.50 and will be available starting March 4 @ 10:00am.
Winning at Life: A How-To Guide
Bring:
- ID. Today you need more than chest hair to prove you’re 19.
- Your ticket. Only 5,000 of these pups to be had.
- Ducats. Drink tickets are $3 each. Calculate accordingly. There is no ATM inside.
- Actual clothing, real shoes. Hypothermia’s not hot, no matter how skinny your jeans.
- Cameras. Small & discrete cameras are A-OK for proving you’re Facebook Royalty.
Do Not Bring:
- Umbrella. Poke your friends’ eyes out some other day.
- Drinks containers. Water or beer – at this party, we signed up to bring the cups.
- Projectiles/Weaponry. Don’t be that guy.
There will be no in & outs allowed at the event – once you are in, you’re in.
