SWITCH
From his incendiary DJ sets across the globe to his remixes and productions, Dave, aka Switch and also known as Solid Groove, has created his own type of innovative jacking house that draws from all the best bits of electronic music.
The producer/DJ is a pop-crazed madman set on turning genres on their heads. With –M.I.A., Santigold, Major Lazer, to name a few–each project just as bizarre as the last, mashing up a mélange of musical styles and turning them into twisted numbers as only he can manage; each just as challenging as they are accessible. Since 2003 he’s become a luminary in clubs across the globe thanks to his infamous house anthems — “Get Ya Dub On,” “Get on Downz,” “Just Bounce 2 This,” and “A Bit Patchy,” — those have become staples in all house DJs’ playlists.

FELIX CARTAL
Felix Cartal was born with a passion for hard hitting electronic music. With influences ranging from the heavy hitting distortion of The Bloody Beetroots and Boys Noize, to the techno influences of Vitalic, Felix has created an amalgamation of electronic genres which results in a unique listening experience for home and live audiences alike. His distinctive method of incorporating abrasive distortion, intense instrumental build-ups and unique frequency variations in his songs gives Felix a sense of versatility within the electronic scene. This versatility has led Cartal to become one of the leaders of heavy-house – a genre known for its relentless intensity and bass and distortion heavy melodies.

RYE RYE
Hailing from Baltimore, Rye Rye began performing at the age of 16. She has toured with M.I.A. during the fall and winter of 2007 and early 2008 and briefly with Afrikan Boy. She features on a remix of M.I.A.’s “Paper Planes” with Afrikan Boy, which appears on the Paper Planes – Homeland Security Remixes EP by M.I.A. and is available on her MySpace. (She is in the official video for Paper Planes as well). Rye Rye was the first artist signed to M.I.A.’s new music label N.E.E.T., and her album Go! Pop! Bang! was released on February 22, 2011.

TEAM CANADA DJS
DJs Grandtheft and D.R. One have been collaborating since late 2004 and are rapidly gaining ground as the Team Canada DJs duo. Known well for their original style of party-rocking, these guys play all kinds of music with hip hop techniques of scratching and live ‘mashup’ remixing. Spanning the spectrum from performance DJing to competitive production techniques has led the duo through their respective stages of evolution. In Montreal, these two DJs began rocking parties together realizing a similarly quick mixing style and record selection that went well beyond your typical club DJ. D.R.’s DMC calibre scratching and Grandtheft’s world class production give rise to unique performance techniques including: live remixes, turtablism and DVD scratch visuals. All of which has turned heads from coast to coast.

MY!GAY!HUSBAND!
M!G!H! is a fixture in the Vancouver nightlife scene. You’ve probably been to one of the many weekly parties he has put on over the past few years: Glory Days, 1/2 Alive, The Kids, Blastramp etc. In addition to his work in Vancouver, Jason has toured and performed sold out events throughout North America, Australia and Mexico. He has been featured as “Artist of the Week” on Myspace Canada and had #1 Listings for his Production/Remix Work on Hypem.com’s “Popular” list which lists the most heavily downloaded songs on the world’s premier blogs and music related websites.
